First water — finger-test

Feel the top inch of soil. Water only if it's dry — then water until it drains, and empty the saucer after 15 minutes.

Drooping leaves

ProblemLeaves wilting or hanging down.
WhyUsually thirsty — or overwatered. Both look the same, so always check before watering.
Fix1. Finger-test the soil.
2. Dry → water deeply until it drains. Soggy → let it dry out fully before the next water.

Yellow leaves

ProblemLeaves turning yellow or pale.
WhyMost often overwatering; sometimes too little light or a hungry plant.
Fix1. Ease off watering and check the pot drains.
2. Move to brighter indirect light; feed monthly in the growing season.

Soil stays wet

ProblemSoil is soggy days after watering.
WhyWatering too often, or water can't escape.
Fix1. Stop watering and let it dry out fully.
2. Make sure it drains — keep the nursery pot inside your decorative one and tip out excess.

Soil bone-dry

ProblemSoil is dry and pulling away from the pot edges; fast wilting.
WhyUnder-watering, or the plant is root-bound.
Fix1. Soak thoroughly until water drains out the bottom.
2. If it dries within 2–3 days every time, it likely needs a pot a size up — we can repot it for you.

Spots or pests

ProblemBrown/white spots, sticky residue, or tiny bugs.
WhyFungal, or pests like mealybugs and spider mites (they love dry aircon rooms).
Fix1. Isolate it from other plants and wipe the leaves.
2. Treat with neem oil or insecticidal soap — or snap a photo for the Plant Doctor.

No drainage hole

ProblemYour decorative pot has no hole.
WhyWater pools at the bottom and leads to root rot.
Fix1. Keep the plant in its nursery pot, sitting inside the decorative one (a cachepot).
2. Water the nursery pot, then tip out any excess after 15 minutes.

AnswerOnly prolonged, all-day direct sun fades quality faux. Kept indoors or in shade, it stays vivid for years.

How to clean it

AnswerDust with a soft brush or microfibre cloth; for a deeper clean, wipe gently with a damp cloth. No need to soak it.

Can it go outdoors?

AnswerBest indoors or in a covered, shaded spot. Constant sun and rain will wear it over time.

Singapore care tip

Our humidity does a lot of the work — most indoor plants need less water than the label says. In the monsoon months, stretch the interval and always finger-test the soil first. Aircon rooms are the exception: they dry soil (and leaf edges) faster.

💧 How often should I water? ›
There's no fixed schedule — it depends on the plant, its light, and your home (aircon dries soil faster; low-light corners hold moisture longer). Always check the topsoil first, and use each plant's care guide above as a starting point.
🍂 Leaves yellowing, drooping or spotty? ›
Nearly always fixable. Use the Tap to fix guide above for the common causes, or snap a photo with the Plant Doctor — our AI identifies the plant, diagnoses the issue and recommends what it needs. For anything serious, our team is on WhatsApp below.
✨ How do I care for artificial & moss pieces? ›
They're beautifully low-maintenance: no water and no light. Give artificial plants an occasional dust, and keep both out of prolonged direct sun. Preserved moss also prefers a dry, shaded spot to keep its colour for years.
🪴 Repotting & soil ›
Most plants are happy in their pot for a while — repot when roots outgrow it (usually 12+ months) or you want a decorative planter. Prefer we handle it? We offer an onsite repotting service — we bring the soil, tools and expertise to you.
📦 Delivery, damage or returns ›
If anything arrived damaged or not as expected, message us within 48 hours with a photo and we'll make it right. WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach the team. As plants are natural products, slight variation in form, pattern and colour is normal.
